Dublin Airport (DUB): Approximate driving time is 40 minutes and distance is six miles (10 kilometres). Aircoach runs a 24-hour service from the airport to and from Dublin city centre. The service runs 24 hours, every day. Tickets can be purchased from the bus driver and cost approximately €10 (return). Taxis are available at the airport. Driving directions: From Dublin Airport take the M1 and exit towards the city centre. Turn left at Church Street, go through the traffic lights and pass over the bridge. Continue along Bridge Street, which leads up to Christchurch Hall Apartments just before the cathedral. Dublin's extensive bus network (green double-deckers) serves the centre and the suburbs. Taxis are expensive and can be hard to come by. Parking is scarce, but a car is a great way to get off the beaten track; the centre of Dublin is best explored on foot.
